Martin Caron, born in Repentigny, grew up in the small village of Saint-Jean-de-Dieu in eastern Quebec. He started triathlon 10 years ago. He had the chance to race in many events, such as:

• 8 Olympic distances
• 28 half Ironman
• 13 Ironman
• 2 ITU long distance
• 3 duathlons
• 7 long-distance bike races
• 8 mountain bike races
• 1 provincial road bike race
• 2 half marathons
• 5 marathons
• 1 50 km ultra

He has a love for endurance sports. Training is part of his everyday life, and he likes to learn about everything that can help his athletic development, including nutrition and recovery.

The year 2022 will be a busy one for Martin, with 9 major competitions. As he says, “It’s going to hurt!”
